The Virginia Geographic Information Network (VGIN) is the lead public agency in the Commonwealth for spatial data and GIS. The film was scanned at 14 microns and the aerotriangulation was executed using Zeiss ISAT software. The accuracy of the aerotriangulation data supports 1"=100' mapping and the generation of 2' contours. The Digital Terrain Model (DTM) and subsequent Triangular Irregular Network (TIN) used to the interpolate the contours was photogrammetrically stereo-compiled using fully manual methods to collect masspoints and breaklines.
