Anyone can obtain copies of Stafford County's GIS data under the Freedom of Information Act.
Data can either be downloaded for free from our public data page or you may obtain it for a minimal charge, on CD, by filling out the above form and returning it to the GIS office by fax or mail. This form is a PDF and can be viewed and downloaded using Acrobat Reader. Click for free download.
To view digital GIS data ESRI's ArcExplorer software may be downloaded free of charge from: http://www.esri.com/software/arcexplorer. This is not an endorsement of ESRI products by the county.

Fees:
The cost of digital data will reflect the actual charges of reformatting and duplicating the data. Some files cover the entire county, others, due to file size, have been broken down into parts of the county. Be certain to request the correct section, or tile.
